If you remember watching Little House on the Prairie

Mrs. Olson has indoor potty installed into her home

and she refers to it as THE WATER CLOSET.

for back in the day that is what the bathroom was called,

so you can step into mine if you wish

I made wooden stencils signs for the doors in the back of the house.

We restored an old claw foot tub and I love it.

the old sign I made for our Wash House

My black lingerie chest sits beside the toilet and the tub.

the old mayo jars I adorned with fabric and printed words for Q-tips and Cotton balls.

the old sampler is stitched from one of my patterns.

the old cracker jar houses handmade soap from dear friend Kim Argenzio.

the little doll is handmade by Cathy Simpson.

the antique curling iron are some of the precious tools used back in the day.

the pew shelf houses magazines to read while your on the throne.

this old cubby shelf I have had for years.

the old bottles create a wonderful bathroom accent

 all tied up with homespuns and hemp cord.

Tanya Allen made me the Prayer of Jabez sign.

it sits in front of the toilet so eveyone remembers to say the prayer.

the old quilted bonnet sits ona wire hat stand.

the old stainer holds hand soap made by dear friend Jill Tatum.

the Lye Soap box is made by Mickey Bakeman.

the goats milk sheep soap hand poured by Kim Argenzio are resting in a porcelian pan.

The hands to work stitchery was stiched by my friend Paula

This old prairie doll handmade by Lizzie of Lizzies Cabin sits on an old chair

our medicine Cabinet is adorned with dried herbs in a pot.

the sampler is hand stitched by me and nailed to an old board.

My therapy chair.

any time I go to take a shower or a bath

here come my children wanted to tell me their heartfelt problems. 

I don't know if they think I am naked and cant take off running after them

or if the truly just love intrupting my peace, ha ha

either way I decided my forever bathroom would have a therapy chair.

I paid 15.oo for this chair at GW (Good Will)

the quilted topper was handmade by Joyce Thompson

the old window pane was from an old historical house owned by my friend Barabara Boyer

my dear friend Susie Boyer made it into a mirror for us.

The Amish made me this wonderful cabinet for our sink.

the peg rack holds our towels.

the doors all have peg racks on them as well.
